New Coheed & Cambria Album - 'The Unheavenly Creatures'

I’m a big fan of concept albums, but Coheed & Cambria takes it to a whole other level. The majority of their albums tell the story of The Armory Wars, an epic sci-fi series of albums, a novel, comics, and (hopefully one day) a movie.

The group took a hiatus from The Armory Wars concept with their last release three years ago, but they’re back with the first in a new five-part series that takes place in the same world as the band’s initial albums. The Unheavenly Creatures is one of my favorites from them yet.
